Windsor Action Pistol Club is a full-service indoor shooting range in Windsor, Ontario, offering both pistol and rifle lanes, memberships, and supervised guest access.

Windsor Action Pistol Club has been a trusted part of the Windsor firearms community since 1991. Located in the same building as General Gun & Supply, we operate a secure indoor shooting range in Windsor, Ontario designed for both pistol and rifle shooters.

Our facility offers a controlled, professional environment for licensed firearm owners, range members, and supervised guests to train, practice, and enjoy the sport of shooting year-round.

Indoor Range Facility

Our indoor shooting range includes two separate ranges, each extending 25 meters to the backstop:

7-stall pistol range suitable for handgun training and competitive disciplines

Dedicated rifle range, separated for privacy and the use of higher-caliber non-restricted rifles

Physically attached to General Gun & Supply for convenience

This layout allows us to safely accommodate both handgun and rifle shooting, while maintaining strict safety and compliance standards.

Range Membership & Access

Range members enjoy extended access, greater flexibility, and full participation in all shooting disciplines offered at Windsor Action Pistol Club.

  • Annual membership: $300 per year
  • Canadian Firearms Licence Required
  • Completion of required range and safety training (included in membership)
  • Key-card access to the range
  • Range access from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, every day of the year (unless otherwise stated

Included Shooting Disciplines

Members may participate in any discipline offered at the range, provided they meet the safety and qualification requirements for that discipline.

Non-Member Shooting Options

Non-members are welcome during store operating hours, subject to range availability and supervision requirements.

Non-member options include:

  • Rental of the rifle range for non-restricted firearms only ($20/person)
  • Supervised handgun rental experiences, conducted by a certified Range Safety Officer
    • Safety briefing and instruction included
    • Opportunity to shoot multiple handguns

Rifle Range Rotation Policy

To ensure safe, fair access for all shooters during busy periods:

  • The rifle range operates on a 10-minute rotation system when there is demand
  • Shooters may continue beyond 10 minutes when no one is waiting
  • When additional shooters arrive, all users will be asked to rotate after each 10-minute interval
  • This policy applies equally to members and non-members
  • Failure to follow this policy may result in removal from the range.

Restricted firearms are not permitted for non-members.

General shooting is available outside of scheduled events, safety courses, and maintenance periods.

Range Safety & Rules

Safety is our highest priority. All shooters must follow range rules at all times.

  1. Common sense – If you think it is wrong or unsafe IT IS.
  2. Members must wear their Range membership card and CSSA membership card.
  3. Guests must be signed in under the members ID and be within arms reach while shooting.
  4. We police ourselves, if you see something, say something.
  5. Only 1 firearm per stall.
  6. Absolutely NO rapid fire.
  7. Eye protection and earmuffs are mandatory.
  8. Only shoot at authorized targets in your lane.
  9. Holsters – only when qualified and on the discipline night.
  10. No steel core ammo on either range.
  11. No pistols on the rifle range unless authorized.
  12. No smoking, eating or drinking on the range.
  13. Absolutely no horse play. Loud or abusive language will not be tolerated.
  14. 10-minute limit on the rifle range, if someone is waiting behind you.
  15. Absolutely no alcohol or drug use is permitted.
  16. Chamber flags are mandatory in all semiautomatic rifles.
  17. All members are required to have an active membership from the CSSA.
  18. All rules are subject to change at anytime.

Failure to follow range rules may result in removal from the facility and suspension of privileges.
