How to get your licence (PAL)

The standalone CFSC (Non-Restricted) and CRFSC (Restricted) each cost $209.99 plus tax, while the back-to-back CFSC & CRFSC (Combo course) is $329.99 plus tax.

Once you have successfully completed your course, your test results are mailed to the FSESO to verify that you have passed, then they are mailed back to your home. This process can take anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks.

Once you have your test results back, you can start the application process. Print out the application below, fill out the application with all of your information, and have your references sign it. We can take the required photo at our store for $20 and answer any questions you might have about the application.

When you have completed the application, you can mail it via Canada Post Registered Mail to the RCMP to acquire your PAL.

The process from start to finish usually takes between 3-6 months before you receive your physical card in the mail.

2. PASS THE COURSE

Complete your course and pass your written and practical exams. In 3-6 weeks after successful completion of your course you will receive your stamped test results and Student Course Report in the mail.

3. APPLY FOR YOUR P.A.L.

Apply for your PAL with the RCMP by completing the Application for a Posession and Acquisition License Under the Firearms Act form.

We can take your photo and look over your paperwork before you submit your application.

Booking Policy

We require payment in full at the time of booking. If we need to change a course date or time due to an unforeseeable event all students will be notified by phone of the changes. If a course is changed all students will be given all available options in order to change their course date. PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM BOX FOR CONFIRMATION EMAIL.

Late Policy

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of class for pre-registration. The class doors will be locked at the start of the course with no exceptions due to the mandatory course hours.

Cancellation Policy

There are no cancelations within 30 days of scheduled course date. Rescheduling is allowed up to 14 days prior to a scheduled course for a fee of half the original booking fee. Please make sure you are available for the course you sign up for when you book it.

Once you book, you are making a commitment to the instructors and fellow students that you will be attending NO MATTER WHAT. The class will proceed with or without you. If you miss the class there are NO REFUNDS for any reason! If you wish to book another course for another date you will have to pay the full price again.
